This semi-autobiographical play written and directed by Kayla Scott won many awards at VTA 2018. Most importantly, this play opened up much needed discussion of the topics of racial profiling and gentrification.

The awards we have won for this show are nothing compared to the love and gratitude Josh and Amaya and the cast have received from the community! Theatre inspires thought that inspires change.

Improv 2019-20
Improv classes will focus on long form this year: telling stories, building characters, and bringing our imagination into the community, from Cale Elementary, to Walton and Burley Middle Schools, to events with other high schools and Monticello faculty. Classes will be after school on Mondays!
